2010 -  a new year - and new opportunities

Worship continues to be at 10am with services in St Ninian's

apart from the 4th Sunday of each month

                                                  when we gather in Glencairn.

Last year a group headed for Iona for a week relaxing and looking at Celtic Spirituality. Many have asked for this programme to be offered in the parish, and so .............

5 meetings have been arranged. Two options as to time and place.

One course starts on Sunday 24th January meeting in The Paterson Rooms, North Street, Moniaive 2 - 3.30pm;

the other starting Thursday 28th January, meeting in Dunscore Church, 7pm - 8.30pm.

 Come and try, check it out.

Other opportunities - pilgrimage to The Holy Land April 2010 - depends on numbers.

Lubuto News - our twinned congregation in Lubuto, Ndola, Zambia needed desks and chairs for the preschool - we offered to help through a Christmas Present scheme - and the tables and chairs have arrived! Thanks to all.

Kay and Gill from Dunscore are heading off to Lubuto in March to meet up with friends old and new, and to have a look at the education requirements in the schools. Kay is a teacher and will be able to point us in the right direction as to the best help we can offer.

Meantime it is hoped that Stephen Simumba and Christine Sime can sort out a quarterly service when on a given Sunday we will present the same theme in our worship, and so be as united as we can be in worship.
