Double standards!

Many of us have double standards - hypocrisy is one word for this.

We say one thing and do another. Very few, I think, are innocent.

And no Christian is free from this  - because none of us are perfect.

Once we know and accept this

suddenly the hypocrisy diminishes as honesty with ourselves and others takes its place.

There is another area of double standards which can work both ways:

Some people assume that God cares for them more than others.

Others that God cares for others more than them.

Neither position can stand - because God is no hypocrite!

He does what he says in the Bible.

God loves his creation - everything he made.

So whatever way you skew things -

                               it is time to skew them back again.
